🌊 The Riverbed Practice: Channeling Love Through the Mantra Command Aum Love Now

Aum Love Now is both a long-term meditation relay completed by long-term meditators, and a timeless circle. It's a journey — a beautiful epoch of divine ecstatic love spanning centuries, millennia — starting with a simple intention: in the name of love, lay the work down in the body, offer it to others with a sincere intent, and keep practicing.

For this, I am grateful. Grateful for the opportunity to practice these new forms of meditation, to play with energy, grow our awareness, deepen our passion, strengthen our connection — with ourselves, with each other, with the ground beneath us, and the universe around us.

Aum Love Now. Aum Love Now. Aum Love Now.

So. I recently went through what I should probably call a dip into negative energy. Crankiness, anger, frustration, and just all kinds of negative thoughts parading through my mind like they don't give a damn that I didn't invite them. They're just coming right on through.

I've yet to build a door big enough, strong enough. But once you build a door, they just get bigger on the other side of it — and eventually it breaks through anyway.

So as best I could, I just witnessed everything. Did have a tizzy fit. Got upset, frustrated, tired, cranky. That's me during the week, in and out of traffic court.

I enjoy the varying atmospheres I get to work in — my brain doesn't get locked in on one building. I go to multiple buildings, multiple days of the week, different locations. I'm familiar with each one, but it's always different. So I'm grateful for that. Lots to be grateful for.

And there's power in simply pushing through. Pushing through. Getting through. Practicing as best you can and just getting through.

I did that. And when I got through it, it felt like I had a clearer — a more clear — feeling of groundedness into the work of Aum Love Now. Like I was embodying it on a deeper level than before.

Part of that, I think, is that I also listen to Aum Love Now all night long.

First, as a lullaby to sleep. Second, as a way to continuously feed my subconscious mind. Aum Love Now, over and over, every single night while I sleep.

The benefits of this are twofold. One — it benefits me because I'm embodying more love in the universe. And two — it benefits me because I'm receiving all the love that anyone and everyone has ever, through the power of intention, poured into Aum Love Now.

Aum Love Now is like a cup. A container. And it's capable of receiving and transmitting infinite flows of energetic love from one beautiful heart to the next beautiful heart — regardless of where each of them are in time and space.

So as everyone transmits life force energy — Reiki, love, prana, chi, prayer, whatever you want to call it — transmits that good intention into this mantra command, then every time it is repeated, or connected with through the power of intention — writing it, seeing it, breathing as you gaze into it, looking at a picture of it, wearing it, anything you can do to connect with it through intention — love flows.

It's an instantaneous, magnificent transmission of light.

And what's so beautiful is that it will never overload or overwhelm you. It always meets your energy exactly where you are, and totally respects your sovereignty on the tiniest levels. It's elegant, beautiful energy. This energy we call love. So beautiful and strong. Omnipresent — everywhere, now and forever.

And it's so easy to connect with this energy.

Really. I say there are no secrets — just like A Course in Miracles says, the sun doesn't hide its secrets in dark temples. Love is so easy. You just open your heart, connect with your loving intention, activate that, breathe, and send the love.

Gaze into the mantra command. Gaze into the eyes and minds and souls of countless others vibrating in love, gazing into that same mantra command from anywhere in the universe. It's almost like — on a cosmic level — it's the moon that we can all see. Something like that analogy. That works.

So you're doing two things at once.

One — you're repeating the mantra, embodying love, growing, coming into the moment, being fully present as your magnificent, beautiful self.

And two — you're stepping out of time with every expanding breath, and pouring the energy of divine ecstatic love through your mind and body into the mantra command. Filling it with love.

And then the very next time you repeat it, you're receiving the love that you just poured into that container, into that mantra command, Aum Love Now.

So you can alternate. It's a very beautiful, elegant way to meditate.

Simply take 12 breaths and channel love into the mantra command. You can hold it between your hands. During those 12 breaths, just intend that the energy of love flows through you — like you're a beautiful riverbed, and love, all this love, just flows straight through you, through your hands, and into the mantra command. To be held there forever. For the benefit of anyone, anyone, anyone, anywhere who repeats this mantra command.

This is a way our love can touch each other across time and space.

And I truly think that's beautiful. This flow of love. The stillness of love is wondrous to immerse ourselves in. And the movement of love — the flow of love — is also beautiful to immerse ourselves in.

As a postscript to the last — I couldn't think of a good word other than blither blather. I guess "discourse" if you wanted to be professional.

But as to channeling love into the circular container of Aum Love Now —

Place your hands anywhere near or on the mantra command. It could be a copy of it. You could just visualize it. See it on the computer and visualize that a copy is right there, your hand hovering over it.

Take 12 breaths and send the love into the mantra command.

Let's do that now.

12 breaths of divine love into the mantra command — pouring all this love, your highest, lightest, and deepest soul love into this mantra command, Aum Love Now...

…

Repeating 12 times, Aum Love Now...

...

…

I think I might have gone over 12. (It’s ok)

And 12 breaths of divine ecstatic love into the mantra command that we just repeated — which continues to vibrate within us — holding the intention now that all this love continue to flow through this mantra command...

Aum Love Now. For the benefit of all beautiful humans connecting in the present moment, repeating in service, to both themselves and the good of all life — growing stronger and stronger within us — as the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries, and millennia unfold within and through us.

And so it is.
